25 years of expertise
Chaired by Julien Baché, IDK, an independent distribution company, has been recognized for 25 years for its expertise in accessories and direct expansion, but also for its technical support.
IDK employs nearly 55 committed and trained employees to provide the best solutions to HVAC professionals. They are distributed between its head office, located in Émerainville (77) and its 7 agencies based in Ile-de-France (Émerainville-77, Fresnes-94, Gennevilliers-92 and Mitry-Mory-77), in the North (Lille -59), West (Nantes-44) and East (Strasbourg-67) of France.
A complete offer of products and services
A specialist in installation accessories, IDK quickly expanded its range with the distribution of additional accessories (lift pumps, trunking, tools, etc.) and developed partnerships with renowned manufacturers in the fields of air conditioning and renewable energy heating ( Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, LTB…) to offer professionals:
- ranges of Air/Air heat pumps in residential and for the small tertiary sector,
- an Air/Water heat pump and domestic hot water production offer, essential equipment on which, as a specialist in direct expansion, IDK is very strongly positioned,
- water or centrifugal condensing systems for urban needs.
The company also markets high-end accessories under the IDK brand, such as its pre-insulated copper manufactured according to very strict specifications, under its distributor brand NightHawk, vacuum pumps, and works exclusively with brands such as Black Diamond (tools).
Its precise inventory management allows IDK to commit to the availability of referenced products at the counter of its agencies and in its central stock, and to guarantee their delivery within 24 to 72 hours in metropolitan France.
IDK offers after-sales service for spare parts for its various brands of HVAC equipment, under and out of warranty.
A quality integrated Technical Service for personalized support
Composed of 2 technicians with nearly 25 years of field experience, IDK's integrated Technical Service is a real added value for the company for its customers and for the development of the skills of its internal teams. In close collaboration with the IDK sales force, he advises and supports, on a daily basis, HVAC professionals in all stages of their projects:
- costing and sizing,
- preliminary audit on site and on existing installation,
- commissioning of tertiary ranges, Air/Water heat pumps and VRFs for the Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic brands.
Strong growth ambitions within 3 years
Based on values organized around three pillars (simplicity, requirement and loyalty), IDK, which achieved a turnover of more than 30 million euros in 2022, structures its organization to develop and achieve, d by 2025, a turnover of 50 million euros.
To be at the heart of its customers' successes, IDK relies on:
- a new Management Committee alongside Julien Baché, Chairman.
It is composed :
– a Sales and Marketing Department headed by Michael Blanc, with over 20 years' experience in the HVAC sector. Michael started his career at Grada as Head of Sales, then joined Lindab as Regional Director before taking up the position in 2015 of Commercial Director of the "heating/cooling/ventilation" activity of the Zehnder group. He joined IDK in October 2022
– a Purchasing Department headed by Laurent Martinez, who has extensive experience in the field of industry. Laurent held the position of Senior Consultant at PDG Tech for 10 years before joining the Bona Sabla group in 2020 as BU Purchasing Manager. He joined IDK in March 2022.
– an Operations Department led by Éric Dubert, involved in the development of the IDK company for almost 17 years, first in the logistics field, then in IT before taking the reins of the 2 divisions in 2014.
– and a Finance and Human Resources Department supervised by Thierry Di Mauro, previously Administrative and Financial Manager at Whirlpool for 10 years. Thierry joined IDK in September 2021.
- an enrichment of its product offer with, in 2023, simple and double flow ventilation systems, air diffusers and purifiers to meet the requirements of the regulations in favor of Indoor Air Quality.
- the extension of its branch network to be closer to its customers with the opening of an agency in the West, in Carquefou (44) in 2022 as well as the harmonization of its spatial identity (promotion of products at the counter, etc.) and visual ( new logo and graphic charter) thus illustrating the evolution and dynamism of the IDK offer.
