Ideal Standard launches a new sustainable shower column: Alu+

Aesthetically, the shower systems have elegant rectangular lines, perfectly enhanced by the circular mixer, the shower head and the hand shower. The contemporary design is complemented by three matt finishes – Matt Black, Brushed Pink and Brushed Aluminum – which allow you to play with colors in a new and fascinating way.

Sustainability was also prioritized, with Alu+ being created from high-quality recyclable aluminum, which is 84% ​​recycled content. Totally free of chrome, lead and nickel, Alu+ also features water saving technology built into the entire range – flow restrictors reduce consumption to just 8 l/min for the hand shower and 12 l/min for the rain shower, without affecting performance.

All plastic parts of Alu+ are made from high performance polymers which comply with drinking water regulations to ensure the water is never polluted with harmful plastics. Ideal Standard makes sustainable decisions throughout the Alu+ product life cycle, with all packaging being fully recyclable and free of single-use plastics.

Practicality is at the heart of the range. Alu+ includes storage shelves and matching beauty bars, accessory bars, with mirrors and other storage solutions available in the same three colours.

The hand shower and extra-large rain showerhead offer users two different sprays, with a normal rain spray and the luxurious SilkRain mode, which diffuses ultra-fine water droplets for a spa-like experience. Switching between modes is simple, with an easy-to-adjust lever on the hand shower and Ideal Standard's EasyDial control knob on the shower head.

The hand shower and shower head are easy to clean and free of limescale thanks to the EasyClean nozzles. The range is available in thermostatic and single-lever versions, as well as shower bar sets with a shower head and shower systems with a diverter to easily change from hand shower to overhead shower.

Moreover, thanks to the Singular philosophy^TM from Ideal Standard, the shower system can be easily combined with Cerafine O taps and matching Idealrain shower accessories, in the same colors and style, as well as the wider collections of shower trays and shower enclosures, ceramics and furniture from Ideal Standard.
