In 1976, designer Jean-Claude Bordelet specialized in the study and manufacture of fireplaces, and quickly became a leader in creation, integrating color combined with a perfect mastery of metalworking techniques.

In 1982, at the BATIMAT trade fair in Paris, Jean-Claude Bordelet presented the very first colored steel fireplace; a revolution in the history of fireplaces in France, which paved the way for the creation of numerous models, including, 10 years later, the iconic EVA 992.

In 2006, Bordelet Industries joined the Seguin Group (French designer, manufacturer and distributor of heating solutions (fireplaces, wood-burning fireplaces, inserts, wood-burning stoves, pellet stoves) against a backdrop of strong convergence in terms of product quality and business ethics.
