This cooperation between an association and a social landlord is part of the policy promoted by AFFIL (Francilienne association to promote integration through housing).
It will make it possible to continue the actions already carried out, in particular the infill housing operations, but also to produce thematic residences that can accommodate different audiences, to develop modular housing, to imagine innovative solutions...
Since 2009, ICF Habitat La Sablière and the Aurore Association have developed more than 15 temporary occupation operations for buildings earmarked for restructuring or demolition, during the years of project set-up. The accommodation is made available to the association, which manages it and accommodates people in precarious situations.
5 operations are underway in Chelles, Ivry-sur-Seine, Suresnes and Paris (a total of 411 accommodations or rooms). Some can lead to lasting solutions, such as the integration of a CSAPA into a new construction program, after a period of provision of pavilions to be demolished.
These operations meet with the support of the State and the interest of local authorities through the concrete nature of the solutions they provide and the quality of management.
The partnership contract signed today strengthens relations between the two signatories by setting shared objectives:
- Develop thematic residences (boarding houses, social residences, etc.) by offering quality projects and a global response built between lessor and manager.
- Pursue infill housing operations
- Sharing good practices between the teams of ICF Habitat La Sablière and Aurore so as to work together on innovative solutions, such as modular housing. This is to encourage the teams to study and develop new projects that can make sense for both parties in the context of their respective missions.
The partnership agreement is signed for an indefinite period, feedback will be carried out every 3 years.
For Florian GUYOT, general manager of the Aurore association, “It is by mobilizing everyone that we will be able to find solutions to help the most disadvantaged. Through this partnership, Aurore and ICF Habitat La Sablière show how much the link between associations and social landlords makes sense to build a more fraternal world. »
For Jean-Luc Vidon, general manager of ICF Habitat La Sablière "This agreement reinforces our long-standing relationship with the Aurore association and reflects the common desire of the social landlord that we are to contribute to a better response to poor housing with a recognized and trusted association partner"
