
Combining high thermal and acoustic performance with an excellent environmental record, the latest generation Hybris31 range of honeycomb reflective insulation from ACTIS combines all the qualities for this type of work and meets current (RE 2020) and future regulatory requirements.
Patented technology, compliant with RE2020, to insulate more with less
Intended for the interior insulation (walls, partitions and attics) of buildings, both new and renovated, the Hybris31 range of honeycomb reflective insulation displays very high thermal performances: lambda 31 and thermal conductivity λ 90-90 = 0,0312 W/(mK). These make it possible to achieve a very high energy performance objective, in accordance with the requirements of RE2020. Indeed, they contribute to gaining in Bbio and optimizing thermal studies or securing them in relation to the regulatory thresholds of RE 2020. In addition, they contribute to optimizing summer comfort (up to 2° gain in freshness).
To achieve this result, Actis has improved the metallization of the reflective films that make up, with a new recycled polyethylene foam, the honeycomb structure whose principle consists of exploiting the natural insulating qualities of air (λ26). By trapping a maximum of air between the reflective films, this patented technology allows for better insulation while reducing the quantity of material used and its environmental footprint. The Hybris31 range is available in 7 thicknesses (from 50 mm to 155 mm) for wall insulation with an R of 3,35 (in m².K/W) for a thickness of 105 mm.
A versatile insulator
In addition to thermal insulation (winter/summer), Hybris31 also ensures sound comfort thanks to the insulation structure with multiple sealed cavities as well as the airtightness of the walls and roof slopes. It integrates, in fact, the vapor barrier function, without adding an additional membrane, which avoids any risk of condensation.
A 100% recyclable, healthy and sustainable insulation
As part of a forward-looking circular economy plan, Hybris31 is among the only insulators in the world to be Cradle to Cradle® certified, attesting that it is 100% recyclable, infinitely. Its manufacturing also includes recycled material.
VOC-free, it respects indoor air quality (A+) and reduces allergy risks. Non-irritant and dust-free, it is also healthy for installers.
Both light and vertically rigid, Hybris31 does not settle over time, which protects it from the risk of thermal bridges.
All these characteristics give it excellent mechanical strength in order to sustainably maintain its insulation performance for energy savings.
Certified performance
Made in France, Hybris31 benefits from ACERMI certification n° 22/189/1575 issued by the National Testing Laboratory (LNE) which attests to its very good thermal conductivity. It is covered by a DTA (Technical Application Document) issued by the CSTB for its wall and roof applications.
Finally, Hybris31 has environmental and health data sheets (FDES) detailing its excellent environmental performance achieved thanks to its compactness during transport, its lightness, its very energy-efficient (electricity) and resource-efficient manufacturing. All these assets allow it to anticipate the carbon targets of 2031.
