Action Logement and the AdCF are committed to regional housing and employment policies

By signing this agreement, the two partners undertake to strengthen existing synergies and pool their skills in order to develop their actions in the regions in favor of housing, in particular within the framework of the national plan “Action Cœur de ville », Operations of the New National Urban Renewal Program (NPNRU) and the Voluntary Investment Plan amounting to 9 billion euros that Action Logement signed with the State on April 25, 2020.

In the context of the health and economic crisis facing local actors, this agreement aims to support housing policies for which the inter-municipal authorities are responsible, particularly in terms of planning the construction of social housing via the delegation of aid. to stone and private park renovation policy as part of the fight against fuel poverty.

Several areas of cooperation supporting local housing policies have already been identified within the framework of this partnership:

• Improving energy performance housing.
• Adaptation of private housing to aging and dependence and more generally the fight against degradation of the existing park.
• The production of affordable housing by transforming vacant premises into housing.
• Home improvement in Overseas.
• The increase in housing production both with regard to social rental housing, and with regard to social access and assistance for intermediate housing and analysis of issues specific to employee housing.

This operational cooperation will be promoted in metropolitan urban areas and the main employment basins of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AURA) and Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur (PACA) regions, then extended to all major urban areas and intercommunalities.
