Hotel and hotel residence Kopster in Colombes: 6.800m² of Alucobond Plus panels for the facades of the two buildings

Under the project management of Cardinal Promotion and signed by the International Architecture agency, the construction of a property complex, consisting of a hotel and a hotel residence has been completed in Colombes (92) on the Îlot Cook.

On a shared basement and 8 floors in the superstructure, the two buildings are clad on the facades with 6.800 m2 of ALUCOBOND Plus panels available in three colors to animate them according to the hour and the sunshine.

In the foreground, the Kopster hotel building has 135 rooms, a 350 m 2 seminar area and a restaurant perched on a 300 m 2 rooftop at R+8 offering a view of Paris and the La Défense skyline. This city entrance building offers an image of modernity and change for a complex visible from the highway. In the background, another building bordered by the Boulevard de Valmy houses a hotel residence with 116 rooms.

In a global urban dynamic, their situation is part of the creation of a new district, the Cook block within the framework of the development of the North of the city through the various ZAC taken up with the urban fabric. The opening of the two establishments managed by the Laborel group, totaling 251 rooms and targeting a leisure and business clientele, took place in early March 2023.

The 6.800 m 2 of ALUCOBOND Plus aluminum composite panels placed in cassettes on the facades make it possible to offer a play of colors in the materials by their variation in three shades: 2.700 m² in Galaxy Blue for the hotel, 1.800 m² in Sakura for the hotel residence and 2.300 m² of White Gold / Silver for the basement of the hotel and the residence.

This cladding responds to the architect's desire to create animated facades that change according to the hours and the weather and to reflect the building environment and the sky. The lightness and transparency in the ground floors of the ALUCOBOND ® material also make it possible to avoid the mass effect of the whole and to offer an image of modernity reflecting the standing of the interior of the hotel.
