The turnover of the Norman group, owner of the France Confort brand, increased by 6,3%, to 1,06 billion euros.

"We managed to maintain something very honorable given the context," group general manager Loïc Vandromme told AFP.

The group's net loss comes from the difficulties of its renovation activity for companies, via its subsidiary Atelier des Compagnons, which has suffered the brunt of the inflation of materials.

For 2023, the group expects a growing turnover and says it is "confident in its ability to gain market share", he said in a press release.

In 2023 and 2024, it will benefit from the resumption of works by defaulting builders, including Geoxia, builder of the Maisons Phénix, which filed for bankruptcy in June.
