Financial support to help French SMEs[1] to participate in fairs and exhibitions with more than 500 exhibitors was announced, and confirmed by the publication of the decree of March 16, 2022, by Bruno Le Maire and Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.
74 events organized in France between March 2022 and June 2023 are affected by this measure, including the 2022 edition of the BATIMAT trade fair, which takes place from October 3 to 6 at Paris-Porte de Versailles.
In practice, this subsidy, managed by CCI France, corresponds to 50% of the expenses for renting exhibition space and registration fees within the limit of €12.500 excluding tax per company. Eligible for this aid are companies with less than 250 employees, whose annual turnover does not exceed 50 million euros. Moreover, they must not have exhibited at the previous edition of the show.
Aid application files must be submitted on the national website of the CCI network before December 31, 2022.
