Géraldine SQUENEL: career path & expertise
Holder of a DESS in Organizational Information and Communication, as well as a Master of Philosophy, Géraldine Squenel began her career as communications and press relations manager in 1994.
Initially operating in the world of Wines and Spirits, in France and internationally, she joined the public sphere in 2000.
She was first press officer at the Brittany Regional Council and then she managed press relations for the Manche Departmental Council and the Rouen town hall. In 2010, she was appointed communications and press relations manager for a parliamentary group in the Senate.
In 2017, she took charge of press relations for the Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Trades and Crafts, before joining Cerema[1], in 2019, first as director of communications and press relations, then as director of corporate communications. She is notably responsible for defining and promoting the new identity of the Establishment, in line with its positioning, then managing communication around the Cerema community membership campaign.

The CSTB Communication department: missions & organization
The communications department manages institutional, scientific, business and internal communications. She also manages the establishment's external relations.
The communications department's missions are to affirm the raison d'être of the CSTB in the service of the general interest, to promote the scientific and technical excellence of the Establishment, to make known its reference role in support innovation among building and urban stakeholders, to promote the advantages of certification in the service of the performance of products and systems and finally to make the CSTB visible and attractive to talents.
