This initiative is the fruit of the imagination of the leader of the network, Jordan Khalifa and CEO of the company Concept Ouvert. The idea of a white paper germinated as he spoke on the professional network LINKEDIN.
Jordan Khalifa is true to himself, simple, available, attentive and above all professional. After a few posts oriented on different carpentry topics, he feels a great interest and a certain expectation from all carpentry professionals and suppliers. A need to listen, exchange and a mixture of opinions where everyone can express their professional vision.
This operating mode becomes a reflex from the summer (it seems that the building closes in August…) when he launches into the writing of 2, then 3 then 5 posts per week by tackling the subjects which delight the profession but also those which grind their teeth...
"We are an open source network where each member expresses himself, exchanges, shares so that we all progress together. These white papers reflect the spirit of the GAP REFERENCE network, namely simple advice that can be applied by all".
After-sales service, the first white paper
For this first white paper, there is no room for chance, the choice is endorsed by the community, which votes by majority for the after-sales service theme. It is well known that after-sales service and carpentry do not mix. Nevertheless, if perfection does not exist, being better is always a goal at GAP REFERENCE.
It is in this sense that readers will discover the vision of the network when reading our approach to after-sales service. No desire to give lessons, just to share advice and experience that works and applies to every company in the sector.
On the program, 4 main chapters around after-sales service:
- In-house after-sales service
- The after-sales service statement
- After-sales processing
- The principles to be respected in the treatment of the after-sales service
Of course, this white paper is anything but set in stone, it aims to evolve according to feedback from our members and new tools. Nevertheless, the information will remain simple and easily applicable for the business world.
Two more White Papers planned for early 2023
While the first White Paper on after-sales service will be unveiled as the holidays approach as a “nice little present” to all carpentry professionals, two other White Papers are in the process of being written.
The second opus should be devoted to “Customer order management” then the third to “Logistics management”. Two big themes at the heart of mill shop efficiency that help businesses become more profitable.
Beyond a promise, the white paper is further proof of the desire of the GAP RÉFÉRENCEMENT network to best support its members, confirmed managers or young entrepreneurs: better structure, better buying, better selling for better profitability.
“This white paper is one hell of a lifetime experience. I have been in the business for 14 years and even though I am an introverted manager, I have always liked to listen and share with my teams but also with all my carpentry colleagues. This is the first wealth of an entrepreneur.
Everyone has their own opinion, but wanting to keep information only for personal use is contradictory to my vision as an entrepreneur, especially when you advocate the values of a network. The white paper is a realization of my vision, of my beliefs in this system of being stronger together. I don't have the will to dictate rules but just "common sense" where each leader or manager will find his inspiration. These are simple things to reproduce after everyone is free to put their paw!
Whether it's after-sales service, trade, logistics or other business themes, I describe my experience and my operating methods in all humility and transparency, and that's what I look like. By reading these white papers, you will really know what the real values of the GAP REFERENCE network are and you will have the desire or not to join us, each his way, each his way but with us, it is undoubtedly better traced » .
