Recently created, as part of the CSTB corporate project, this new Department coordinates the various areas of work dedicated to the transformation of the Establishment's tools and processes, in connection with the major challenges of construction. It accompanies the teams in leading this change.
At the same time, François Jallot was also entrusted with related missions, fully open to the outside world, through Research and support for innovation: he was appointed Director of the CSTB'Lab, an incubator for innovative companies, and Chairman of Bioguess, a CSTB subsidiary specializing in the monitoring and detection of indoor air pollutants and the detection of infestations in order to preserve heritage and health.
François Jallot: vision & expertise
François Jallot has solid experience in the world of construction, where he notably held several positions with managerial responsibilities. An expertise that he has always organized around three fundamental axes, for him inseparable:
- The teams, in a dynamic of shared and engaging vision;
- Customers, in a logic of culture of services and requirements;
- Professions & enhancement of technical skills, to meet the challenges and changes in the sector.
Today, he puts this expertise at the service of CSTB's Transformation.
For François Jallot, Director of Transformation at CSTB: “Human capital has always been, for me, the driving force behind any project. This is all the more true with regard to the transformation of CSTB, whose men and women, regardless of the teams, are in fact the main asset. I am proud to accompany them in this vast transformation program, to mobilize and enhance their skills in the service of this change, in connection with the challenges of construction, but also with the CSTB's CSR approach. As Director of the CSTB'Lab and President of Bioguess, I will also keep a constant link with the actors, in a dynamic of Research and support for innovation. »
The CSTB Transformation Department: missions
In 2020, the CSTB embarked on an ambitious corporate project organized around 5 axes, 16 programs and nearly 70 projects, involving the transformation of processes and operating methods.
It is in this dynamic that a dedicated department was created. The Transformation Department is therefore tasked with coordinating the various projects, prioritizing them and supporting the teams in managing change.
