Franck Couturieux transfers management of the Elcia Group to Edouard Catrice with an increase in Somfy's capital

Opened in 1999, the beautiful history of the ELCIA Group opens a new chapter! Its founder Franck COUTURIEUX hands over management to Edouard CATRICE, who becomes the new President of the Group and majority shareholder. To support it, the latter chooses SOMFY (already a shareholder of the Group since 2022) which becomes a reference partner with 33% of the Group's capital.

A natural transmission

25 years after creating ELCIA and allowing more than 25.000 professionals in the Carpentry, Blinds and Closures sector to simplify their creation of quotes with the ProDevis software, Franck COUTURIEUX passes the torch to Edouard CATRICE. Until then Managing Director of the Group, the latter now takes on the position of President. A natural succession, the two forming a complementary pair since 2002.

For his part, Franck COUTURIEUX is fully committed to this environmental commitment which is close to his heart with his endowment fund Le Cadeau du Vivant, supporting associations working to preserve biodiversity.

SOMFY, new reference partner of the ELCIA Group

To support him in his projects, Edouard CATRICE is joining forces with SOMFY, the world leader in home automation and pioneer of the connected home.

Already a minority shareholder of the Group since 2022, SOMFY becomes a reference partner of the ELCIA Group by now holding 33% of the capital.

A logical choice and union for these two beautiful French companies which, in addition to sharing the same human values, innovation and sense of service, are both experts in their market.
