France Matériaux strengthens its tools to offer its members ever more proximity and responsiveness

To support its members in their development and improve their performance, France Matériaux, a national group of independent materials traders, plays the card of proximity and simplification of their logistical procedures.

France Matériaux now relies on two new key and complementary tools: its Occitanie logistics base, based in Gigean (Hérault) and its new BLO online store dedicated to them.

Occitanie logistics base, proximity above all

In April 2022, France Matériaux acquired the GAMHER logistics base based in Gigean (34) and held until that date by some of its members. In carrying out this operation, France Matériaux favored a regional approach in order to be as close as possible to its members and their needs. This first base allows the group to consolidate its purchases and independent businesses benefit, for their part, from a broader product offering adapted to their sales plan, with reduced transport costs.

BLO online store, simplified orders

A digital tool complementary to the Occitanie Logistics Base, accessible to all members, the new BLO online store from France Matériaux is structured around two offers:

materials covering all sectors (exterior design, tiling, structural work, insulation, carpentry, etc.), with different depths of range depending on the product families. The entire offer constituting LES ÉLÉMENTAIRES is available.
LS / Self Service (PPE, drugstore, tools and construction equipment, consumables).

For each of these two offers, France Matériaux clearly displays its pricing policy. If the member is a subscriber to the store, he benefits from preferential rates. By selecting a product, they immediately access the price and available stock. Each member can choose to be delivered and benefit from free shipping or collect their order directly from the platform.

By developing this online store for all its members, France Matériaux wanted to provide them with an easy-to-access solution, allowing them to place their order easily.

Thanks to these two new tools, the independent businesses of the France Matériaux group benefit from all the keys to sourcing and responding quickly to the requests of their artisan customers.
