France Air launches new on-board regulation

The indoor air treatment specialist France Air is launching on-board regulation with advanced features. With the tertiary decree and RE2020, reducing energy consumption has become a major issue in the fight against global warming.

Energy recovery, an environmental issue

It requires the installation of high-performance equipment and devices for the control and active management of this equipment.

The new regulation Oxéo Touch³ from France Air offers extensive functionalities in order to increase the energy performance of buildings, to promote intuitiveness in the daily management of regulation, and to guarantee the comfort and safety of users.

An intuitive approach

With colored icons, intuitive menus, access to the central synoptic for a complete visualization of its operation (temperature, pressure, ventilation speed, battery control, etc.), the design of the Oxéo Touch interface³ offers great ease of navigation. Furthermore, the size of the screen (5 inches or 7 inches optional) offers better user comfort.

Remote control and schedule management

The standard integrated web server allows remote and real-time control of the operation of the air handling unit. Via the web interface, operating parameters can be adjusted without the need to physically access the machine.

The schedule gives access to the programming of different daily or periodic slots. Easy to use, it allows personalized management in complete autonomy.

Energy sobriety

Nighttime superventilation makes it possible to use outdoor temperatures at night in summer only to pre-cool the building. This new feature allows occupants to benefit from summer comfort while reducing energy consumption.

In addition, discharging the electric battery via dry contact will make it possible to deactivate the electric batteries in the event of peaks in the building's electricity consumption.

Adaptability and energy savings

Two specific operating modes of Oxéo Touch³ adjust the operation of the plant in real time. They make it possible to reduce the daily energy consumption of buildings by adapting to one-off events:

the boost mode allows you to increase the flow rate and/or the set temperature over a maximum time range of 60 min.
the override mode adapts the flow rate and/or temperature following an external contact, ignoring the configured operating modes.

Indoor air quality monitoring

Oxéo Touch³ also allows you to add a second filtration stage and view the exchanger clogging information:

for reporting filter clogging information,
to warn of the need to change filters
to maintain good performance of the air handling unit
to guarantee good indoor air quality.

Oxéo Touch³, great R&D work

The development of Oxéo Touch regulation³ started in December 2021.

For 2 years, the product was subjected to numerous tests:

tests on real installations.
tests of various temperatures via a data simulator sent to the air handling unit in order to analyze its behavior. All algorithms were tested based on simulated inputs and outputs.
electromagnetic accounting tests.
tests in climatic chambers down to -20°C.
