The company, which develops and manufactures its products itself, has, thanks to its know-how and its capacity for innovation, set new benchmarks in fastening solutions. The 1st expansion anchor in 1956, the first chemical injection sealant put on the market in 1, the 1975st form-locking anchor in 1, the new generation of SX nylon anchors in 1978 or the first bi-material nylon anchor DUOPOWER in 2000 are all solutions that have marked the binding market.
Among the fischer novelties of recent years:
Ciment Express. Unique on the market, clever and economical, Ciment Express from fischer is a repair paste presented in cartridge form. Ready to use, it offers real time savings to users and limits wastage linked to excess cement manufacturing. High quality, Ciment Express is used in renovation, on many construction materials such as concrete, brick, concrete block, tile, stone, etc., and for various indoor and outdoor applications: tile grouting , concrete blocks…, filling cracks on masonry, concrete, bricks…, fixing tiles, repairing deteriorated edges on stone… It guarantees excellent adhesion to all construction materials.
After drying, it is perfectly waterproof and weatherproof, just a few hours after application.
The DuoLine fastening range. True technological innovation, this range combines all the best technical characteristics. Made from a combination of 2 materials, the DUOPOWER, DUOTEC and DUOBLADE ankles in red and gray colors ensure optimal and perfectly secure anchoring. The frequently tested operating principles, associated with the combination of 2 materials, allow the field of applications to be widened with a load capacity clearly greater than those of traditional nylon anchors and greater safety.
uoPower: This multi-material nylon anchor adapts itself to the construction material in which it will be anchored. It expands, deploys or forms a knot depending on the support, whether it is a solid, hollow or plate material in order to obtain the best adhesion and higher load values than conventional nylon anchors. It guarantees a perfectly secure, solid and durable fixation. It fits easily into the borehole without twisting and thus ensures a good perception of the tightening torque. Versatile, it covers a wide field of application, suitable for wood screws, chipboard screws and double-thread screws, and works in many materials (concrete, solid or hollow masonry, particle board, sheet metal). plaster…).
DuoTec: This toggle dowel for hollow materials is suitable for the following applications: fixing chandeliers, suspensions, spotlights and ceiling lights ... in plasterboard, gypsum fiber panels, wood panels (OSB - chipboard, MDF laminate) , steel panels and plastic panels. Clever, it also works as an expansion anchor if the material encountered turns out to be solid. Bi-material, reinforced with high quality glass fibers, it guarantees good load distribution capacity in plasterboards without damaging the material. For optimum safety, once the toggle has been placed in the borehole, a white fiberglass reinforced socket also fits into the hole entry to provide even higher shear load capacity. Compact, it is easy to install even in narrow and isolated cavities (≥ 50 mm) and benefits from a reduced drilling diameter (10 mm).
DuoBlade: Compact, this self-drilling anchor is suitable for all interior fitting work, light applications: installation of tables, lighting, smoke detectors, blinds, etc. in single or double-layer plasterboards and even allows fixing without drilling in the plates high resistance. The red polyethylene (PE) part provides additional security to the high-quality gray nylon fischer base body. It ensures the expansion effect, when screwing in the screw, to withstand high load values. The self-drilling metal tip, with three sharp blades, ensures easy, very precise and clean drilling without damaging the support. Slightly inclined, it allows the ankle to be easily guided when mounting in a thin material. The anti-rotation lugs prevent the anchor from rotating in the support when installing or removing the elements to be fixed. They also increase the load capacity in vertical fixings and optimize load distribution.
The nylon ankle body features a sharp self-tapping thread pitch for good grip and optimal ankle locking. The flat collar allows installation in standby or through.
The DUOBLADE offers ease of use with a relatively low tightening torque which increases significantly at the end of the screwing process (blocking). The user then feels that the ankle “pulls” and the feeling of blocking is the “feel good factor”.
The DUOLINE range will continue to develop and be enriched with a new reference at the end of the year.
The GreenLine range. This range is the perfect example of fischer's capacity for innovation and its desire to provide consistently efficient solutions, while minimizing the impact on the environment. It is the first range of fasteners in the world made from renewable raw materials. GreenLine products offer the same performance, safety and load capacity as similar traditional fischer products. German quality, they are made with 50 to 80% renewable raw materials. The range consists of 7 product families that allow multiple applications in many building materials: UX Green universal anchor, SX Green expansion anchor, GK Green plasterboard anchor, N hammer anchor. Green, the fixing in FID Green insulating materials, the GB Green cellular concrete anchor and the chemical injection resin for all materials FIS Green 300 T.
With the proven quality of fischer nylon, UX Green, SX Green, GK Green, N Green, FID Green and GB Green are made with over 50% plant-based raw materials. Castor oil is used here as the base material for polyamide. This oil is not used to feed humans and animals, and therefore does not compete with agricultural land. GreenLine anchors have been tested and inspected by the TÜV Rheinland DIN CERTCO center and belong to the category “Biobased 50-85%”. Their packaging is more environmentally friendly since it is made with 90% recycled paper.
As for the FIS Green 300 T resin, it is the first sealing resin to contain more than 50% of raw materials of plant origin. Its styrene-free formulation has been completely revised to contain organic components, in place of complex chemical components, which make it possible to respond to the different functions of reactive resins, additives, plasticizers and thermoplastic polymers.
Safe, this two-component resin is suitable for fixing heavy loads in different materials and has the same technical and performance characteristics as its traditional counterparts. It benefits from an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration). Classified A +, it can be used indoors and holds a European Technical Assessment (ETA) for fasteners in masonry and uncracked concrete.
And because limiting the impact of its products on the environment is important for fischer, the company intends to complete this eco-responsible range with new references which will be marketed at the end of the year.
