How long have you been using MyPricer?
It's been 1 year! From the very beginning, when PICARD SERRURES deployed the solution to its approved locksmiths. Julien MALIAR, PICARD Approved Installer Networks Coordinator, suggested that I be one of MyPricer's test clients. It was a great source of pride and I immediately saw an interest in my daily activity with a solution that makes my life easier. Julien had already made the remark to me: the first time I sold the most high-end door model from PICARD SERRURES, he did not understand that I could offer a product of this standard with a paper quote. I couldn't go on like this, I had to equip myself with an encryption solution.
What does MyPricer bring you in the realization of your quotes?
MyPricer allows me to encrypt immediately in front of the individual, to choose the options according to his needs. The price is adjusted for each option added or removed. Being able to do my costing directly with my client is a decisive factor and saves me decisive time. Does providing a professional quote to the private customer have an impact on the sale?
There is no photo, even for a simple lock! Before, I only used MyPricer to cost the doors because the technical description is important, whereas when you sell a lock, you only have to give the price. But I realized that when working on a lock, our hands are caught, with grease or lubricant on our fingers, we don't have time so we don't necessarily write well. Now even for the locks I take my tablet and make a clean quote right away.
Between a handwritten paper quote comprising a few lines, and a well-written PDF quote with detailed lines, the price of the door or lock, the line of labor etc ... there is not even a comparison ! It makes all the difference in the eyes of the customer.
Does MyPricer help you sell more?
There is a concrete impact! It is not only related to the solution but there is a MyPricer effect. I did not necessarily sell more doors, but I sold a lot more high-end doors, especially pavilion doors with transom, which are doors with additional options and therefore necessarily more expensive. Do you also place your orders with PICARD LOCKS via MyPricer?
Yes, I am the one who places all the door orders. The ordering process is simple and efficient. In a few clicks, the order is sent and all the data necessary for production are filled in. What I particularly like about MyPricer is the line “add comments for the order”. As an example, in the PICARD LOCKS working method, when I order a completely removed door with a renovation double frame, I need to enter two dimensions: an outer side and a finished inner side. In the product configuration I can only put one. With the addition of comments, I can tell the office want an exterior table side and an interior rating. I can also add annotations when I need an additional key. Before MyPricer, I had to call PICARD SERRURES directly, it was quite complicated. It's a very interesting and very relevant addition, I see a lot of interest in it.
Precisely, more generally, how did you manage to place your orders before being equipped with MyPricer?
PICARD SERRURES provided us with an A4 Adobe file to fill in, sign with his finger and send back in PDF format to then receive the feedback from the design office. It took a long time. With MyPricer, it's much easier. I can be anywhere, in my vehicle or on a construction site, I am able to order. I don't need anything except a web connection. During the lockdown, I even managed to sell three doors because with MyPricer, I was able to place my order from home. If we have done our job well, that the ribs are well filled and that the specifics are specified in the comments, everything is clear at the level of the order. It is a saving of time and enormous reactivity.
