In addition, it offers a maximum load capacity, certified by European Technical Assessment ETA-18/0101 (Option 7) for non-cracked concrete, and has a fire resistance R120.
Evaluated for use in wetlands and outdoor applications (SUMMER), the FBN II HDG galvanized fischer stud is recommended for fixing metal constructions, profiles, plates, railings, handrails, cable trays, stairs, wooden constructions…
Double anchoring depth for more flexibility
Professionals can use the new FBN II HDG galvanized fischer stud for all applications in outdoor and humid environments.
For optimal flexibility on construction sites, two anchoring depths are available:
- Standard anchor depth allows maximum anchor capacity to be used and therefore fix the highest loads with fewer fixing points.
- The reduced anchoring depth makes it possible to reduce drilling times. It is ideal when it is necessary to use a longer useful length or when the drilling depth is limited (eg in the presence of reinforcement). The anchoring depth can be adjusted to the situation and the application.
Galvanized FBN II HDG stud
A high tensile strength anchor ...
- The fischer FNB II HDG stud in fischer galvanized steel has a long thread, ideal for offset fasteners. It allows the best possible adjustment of the offset parts, even in the event of variations in the anchoring depths.
- The torque formed by the ring and the expansion cone provides a maximum tensile load capacity in uncracked concrete with very small centers and distances to the edges. The expansion constraint is thus better distributed in the support. In addition, the very small center distances and distances to the edges allow the attachment of small plates close to the edges for more applications.
- The head shoulder is smooth, which prevents damage to the thread during processing. In addition, it has a marking to identify the version of the stud but also to control the anchoring depth.
... and corrosion
The FNB II HDG stud is hot-dip galvanized with a minimum thickness of 50 μm respecting the provisions of EN ISO 10684: 2011.
The durability of the coating has been evaluated according to EAD 330232-00-0601 and can extend up to 50 years (depending on the corrosivity categories C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, CX).
Optimal installation comfort
The galvanized fischer FNB II HDG stud is a controlled tightening expansion anchor. Tightening the nut drives the cone into the expansion ring and expands the latter against the walls of the drilled hole.
It can be installed with only a few hammer blows, which facilitates its use in situations where it is not possible to give powerful hammer blows, such as for example. for difficult to access constructions. A few turns of the nut are enough to apply the tightening torque.
A large range
To increase the range of applications, fischer offers a wide range of FBN II HDG studs. In addition to the standard version with its double anchoring depth, a short version FBN II HDG K (with reduced anchoring depth only) ensures even faster installation. This version is an economical and advantageous alternative for non-structural fasteners, which do not require heavy loads.
The FNB II HDG galvanized stud is approved for non-cracked concrete C20 / 25 to C50 / 60 as well as non-cracked concrete C12 / 15, and in natural stone with dense structure, for dimensions M8 to M20.
