The winter will be tough on the energy front. In its latest report, published on September 14, RTE alerts public opinion to the increased risk of voltage on the electricity network. Although such a risk of cuts cannot be completely excluded, it could however be mitigated by lowering national electricity consumption by 1 to 5% or even up to 15% in the most extreme weather situations.
