To meet this demand, Actis, a French manufacturer of eco-designed, 100% recyclable honeycomb reflective insulation, has developed Hybris Façade, an exterior wall insulation solution under ventilated cladding, with high thermal performance, under ATEx, and eligible for energy renovation aid.
Exterior insulation with many advantages
With high thermal performance and ACERMI certification (R=4,50 m2.K/W, thickness of 140 mm) and thanks to a very good solar factor, Hybris Façade significantly improves thermal comfort in summer and winter for individual houses, grouped houses and apartment buildings up to R+3.
Whether for new construction or renovation, the 140 mm thick Hybris Façade insulating panels offer numerous advantages for both individuals and professional installers:
- high summer comfort: up to 85% gain in thermal resistance in summer compared to traditional insulation (CSTB study on the solar factor) thanks to the combination of the low emissive surface of the Hybris31 insulation and an air gap;
- vapor barrier function: prevents the risk of condensation, summer and winter during phase changes;
- airtightness to avoid convective phenomena and the sensation of cold walls;
- durable insulation: resists humidity and settling over time to provide stable insulation performance over time;
- Comfort and speed of implementation: particularly lightweight, easy to transport, cut and handle, Hybris Façade is a non-irritant insulator. The treatment of the continuity of the insulation and the sealing is facilitated by the integrated adhesive tab.
Technology to insulate more with less
Like all of the French manufacturer's reflective insulation products, Hybris Façade benefits from the patented X'Air® technology. Inspired by nature and honeycombs, its principle is to exploit the natural insulating qualities of air to improve thermal performance while reducing the amount of material used. The low-emissivity reflective films are separated by honeycomb structures encapsulating a volume of air. X'Air® allows for action on the different modes of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation.
Eco-designed, incorporating recycled and 100% recyclable materials, certified Cradle to Cradle® (Hybris31), Actis honeycomb reflective insulation is more energy, water and resource efficient.
Benefiting from very high thermal performance and an excellent carbon footprint (FDES), Hybris Façade makes it possible to achieve a target of very high energy and environmental efficiency, in accordance with the requirements of RE2020. This new insulation process, certified ACERMI and under ATEx, with a thermal resistance R=4,50 m².K/W is eligible for MaPrimeRénov and CEE renovation aid.
Easy implementation
Hybris Façade is based on a common implementation technique for insulation under ventilated cladding, with a system of brackets, rosettes and wooden cladding support uprights. (Refer to ATEx case A n°3242_V1, following the detailed implementation rules and steps precisely.)
