EX'IM, specialist in property diagnosis and asbestos identification, publishes its new CSR charter

This new charter, which is a continuation of EX'IM's environmental charter published in 2016, is the result of consultation between employees and management at headquarters. This new CSR charter will be presented as part of the next seminar to all of the network's franchisees.

EX'IM's new CSR charter: stronger commitments

In 2016, EX'IM committed to sustainable and environmental development with a first charter.

Today, EX'IM intends to reaffirm its commitments and respond to new societal and environmental challenges by adopting a new CSR charter.

With this charter, EX'IM undertakes to implement best CSR practices:

Ethics & Social

• To ban any practice of corruption, commercial agreement, unfair competition or even money laundering
• Respect the legislation and standards in force
• Promote gender equality and diversity
• Promote access to work for people with disabilities and employment for young people and seniors

Environment

• Limit your waste
• Promote recycling
• Promote plastic zero

Employee well-being

• Promote team spirit
• Limit all risks to the health of employees
• Encourage physical activities

Public commitments

• Promote knowledge sharing to all audiences
• Promote actions and associations that meet our ideals

CSR at EX'IM: a charter and very concrete actions already in place

At EX'IM headquarters, the CSR charter is not just a piece of paper…

These are also “field” actions, implemented long ago, in which each employee is brought to participate.

Some very concrete examples:

• Installation of depolluting plants in offices
• Provision of an exercise bike: sport associated with a good action since for each kilometer it is 1 € paid to UNICEF
• All employees have their mugs. So all plastic cups and tubs have been removed
• The decoration is provided by one of the employees who works with wood out of passion, and who regularly supplies the company with recycled wooden objects
• 100% digital EX'IM by 2020: today only the contracts to be signed are printed
• From October 1 a box will be put up at the entrance of the company to recycle the paper. In order to include each employee in this process, every 2 weeks a volunteer will bring the paper to be recycled to the recycling center.

Finally, each new employee is greeted by a presentation of the company, with particular emphasis on this culture specific to EX'IM.
