The only company in the “energy & services” sector to have obtained this distinction this
year, Equans thus confirms its presence among the hundred companies recognized for
the excellence of their HR practices in France. This certification, obtained thanks to the work
collective carried out by all the group's entities in the territory, supports and strengthens the
dynamic led by Equans France since the creation of the group in 2021.
The Top Employer Institute is the international organization which aims to certify the quality of companies' HR practices and recognize the excellence of their actions. Based on 6 major areas such as leadership, organization and work environment, employer brand, skills development, CSR or Inclusion & Diversity policies, more than 250 HR practices are audited before certification is issued.
This recognition rewards Equans France's global human resources policy, based in particular on the establishment of personalized career paths, support for mobility and the transmission of knowledge.
Particular attention is paid to supporting employees throughout their careers. Concretely, the Equans France training offer is currently structured around 8 Trade Academies, which bring together all technical and operational courses by expertise: Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Fire Safety, Cold, Studies & Engineering, Nuclear, Transport and External Infrastructure. In addition, a Management Academy dedicated to supporting executives has also been created. Accessible to all employees, these training spaces have made it possible to train more than 26.000 people in 2023 and contribute to the development of teams, while creating a community of internal instructors.
An essential lever of the energy and industrial transition, the energy and services sector is booming and has a real need for workers. Launched in 2023, the Order of “Energy Companions” made it possible to induct 350 elite workers and technicians into a Companion Order. Responsible for embodying, internally and externally, the company's know-how, its members also ensure its transmission and deployment. The companions' objective: to promote experts, support initiatives and inspire the next generation!
Equans France is also developing a real strategy of listening to employees, with the implementation of satisfaction surveys, commitments or even reports of astonishment to nourish dialogue within teams throughout their journey (arrival , progression but also departure). Over the year 2023, 3 surveys were carried out among the company's 35 French employees.
The “Top employer” certification is a recognition echoing the 3 pillars of the Group’s HR strategy – “attract, develop & care” – which aims to strengthen the involvement and well-being of employees within the company and in particularly in its CSR strategy. Encouraging result, 80% of employees expressed the wish to get involved alongside Equans in its initiatives on the subject.
For Stéphane Vallée, Director of Human Resources at Equans France: “This confirmed presence in the “Top Employers” community encourages us to continue our actions in the service of our 35.000 employees. Our technicians, our experts and all of our teams form the very essence of Equans France.
