The EnerGaïa Forum will take place on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 December 2024 at the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier. An 18e edition, placed under the sign of innovation!
Energaïa Forum: what's new in the 2024 edition
Launch of the Innovation Trophies: an event to highlight exhibitors' innovations, new products and technical advances in response to major transition challenges.
Four prizes will be awarded in four new and cross-cutting categories:
- International Prize: rewards a project or solution with strong potential for international development
- Deployability Award: rewards a project offering easy and rapid implementation
- Ecosystem Prize: rewards a dynamic created with local stakeholders and/or sectors
- Circularity Prize: rewards a project integrating a circular economy component and/or leading to major advances in this area
The Occitanie Pyrénées / Méditerranée Region will also award a special Coup de Cœur Prize to one of the 12 nominated projects.
Exhibitors and co-exhibitors of the EnerGaïa Forum can submit their applications for the Innovation Trophies until September 6, 2024. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 12 at 12:30 p.m., after the nominees' pitch sessions organized in the morning in front of the jury. Building on its success and steadily growing participation, this year the Forum is expanding: an additional hall of 3.500 m2 will be open to continue to best represent the diversity of the renewable energy sector, promote innovation, know-how and professional expertise.
The 100% EnR meeting to accelerate the transition
More than 500 exhibitors are expected, spread across 5 exhibition halls covering more than 24.000 m² and 4 thematic pavilions:
- The Sustainable Building Pavilion, resulting from the Sustainable Building Plan
- The Employment Training pavilion in partnership with France Travail Hérault
- The Derbi pavilion, an innovation accelerator serving the energy transition
- The Cemater pavilion, a cluster responsible for structuring the renewable energy and sustainable construction sectors
The rich program of nearly 100 conferences, round tables, workshops and pitches in the presence of expert speakers, remains at the heart of the show's strategy and its unique positioning.
In 2023, the EnerGaïa Forum welcomed 450 exhibitors and nearly 17.000 participants (+24% vs 2023), thus consolidating its position as a benchmark 100% renewable energy BtoB meeting.
More than a trade fair, EnerGaïa is today both:
- The unmissable end-of-year business meeting
- A solutions laboratory to enable professionals in the sector, public stakeholders and communities to act in favor of the energy transition
- A growing community of experts who question and analyze the profound changes in our economy and provide proposals.
An event that is all the more essential since transition issues have never shaped the future of our economies so much, particularly with the objective of carbon neutrality by 2050 set by the European Union.
