This decision will take effect on January 1, 2023 and follows the sudden death of Jos Lenferink last August. It also marks the end of the SWENA zone (South West Europe and North Africa) to find the two independent entities VEKA France (in charge of the French and North African markets) and VEKA Ibérica (in charge of the Spanish and Portuguese markets) .
"The Group entrusts the general management of VEKA France to Emmanuel, who can count on the support of the teams of the parent company to carry out future projects" says Andréas Hartleif, CEO VEKA Group. “The French organization will be gradually clarified to size the teams optimally and respond to market requirements with accuracy and responsiveness. »
Aged 42, Emmanuel Demesmay joined VEKA in 2020 as Sales Director France, then Country Manager France, where he has been leading the marketing, specification and sales teams for nearly 3 years.
Previously, it was within the SFS group that he spent the first 20 years of his career. First as a technical sales representative in various sectors in France, he rose to the position of Key Account Manager and then Product Manager. His mission was then to develop and launch new products in collaboration with the Group's foreign subsidiaries. It is natural that he will then be entrusted with the management of the Joinery and Industry department with the management of the technical and commercial team.
"It is with pride and a sense of responsibility that I approach this new challenge and I thank the management of the VEKA group for its renewed confidence" says Emmanuel Demesmay. “VEKA is a family business, financially independent, which has proven its high level of performance and resilience during the crises we have just gone through. I am committed to continuing the development of VEKA France on the national market and in North Africa, by embodying the values of the Group in which I believe. »
And to continue: “Regarding our industrial tool in Haute-Savoie, I would like to further increase our level of requirements, so that VEKA France is an exemplary subsidiary in the Group. Efficient, responsive, modern, digital and profitable, sized to support our growth with new customers in a constantly changing environment. And this will begin very soon with the start of construction of our new logistics center, validated by the Group last November. »
And to conclude: “Proposing innovative and industrial solutions, designed and produced in France, to enable our partner manufacturers to stand out in their respective markets. Pursue our industrial investments to optimize our level of quality and services. Commit ourselves ever more to decarbonization by relying on VEKA Recyclage and our expertise in coextrusion. Further strengthen the attractiveness of the VEKA brand, not only to professionals but also to the general public and employees… These are all objectives on which we will work with the VEKA teams, which I know are already competent and committed.”
