Election of the OPPBTP Bureau: Jean-Marie Kerherno, elected President and Christian Baix, elected Vice-President

The Professional Organization for the Prevention of Building and Public Works advises the construction industry on safety and improving working conditions. Its joint structure is made up of 20 members representing the professional and trade union organizations of the branch, assisted by a representative of the State, a representative of the CNAM and Paul DUPHIL, current secretary general.

Elected for a one-year term, renewable once, the Bureau oversees the execution of the decisions of the National Committee Council and the regular functioning of the organization's services.

Jean-Marie KERHERNO

Jean-Marie KERHERNO is in charge of the Mutualization mission at the Federation of SCOP du BTP. He spent his career at STPEE, an electricity company with 200 employees, from 1979 to 2015, including 18 years as CEO. He was a member of the Council of the Ile-de-France regional committee of the OPPBTP from 1987 to 1999 (Chairman in 1995 and 1996) and of the Council of the national committee since 1999 (Chairman in 2006 and 2007 and Vice-Chairman in 2020 and 2021 ).

Christian Baix

Christian Baix worked in the construction industry in Belgium from 1978 to 2001, then as an employee of Imhoff, a subsidiary of the Vinci-Energies group from 2001 to 2016. He is currently an employee of Millot, a subsidiary of the Vinci-Energies group. He has also been a member of the financial control commission of the National Federation of Construction, Wood and Furniture CGT employees since 2011 and a member of the board of the national committee of the OPPBTP since 2013.
