In this context, Eldo, ELCIA, Revel’Home and Waoup emerge with a collaborative and innovative response: Krafteo, a joint venture which will publish software complementary to that of the partners of this new company.
Krafteo was born from the collaboration between 3 publishers of specialized business software for industrialists and construction professionals. They now equip 15.000 construction professionals in a market of 500.000 companies in France.
Rather than developing the same solutions, we wanted to join forces to create a powerful French collective.
This collective aims to create software that complements each person's specialty to save professionals even more time.
Recruiting and training 200.000 people is going to be very complicated, we want to make our contribution by allowing the most structured companies (from 3 to 20 employees) to increase their productivity by 20 to 30%, save time and have peace of mind. thanks to our software.
Eldo specializes in marketing and customer relations, Elcia on encryption which is often the heart of the information system and Revel’Home on the collaborative customer area.
For Jean-Bernard Melet, CEO Eldo: “Our clients were asking for our solutions to discuss with each other to avoid double entry and are waiting for solutions to completely digitize their company to gain productivity and meet the expectations of consumers who want to renovate their homes. »
2 solutions already available to simplify everyday life
- Krafteo Connect - a solution that synchronizes and standardizes information from these different software programs, creating a single and reliable source of data and eliminating cross-software re-entry, a time-consuming task and significant source of error. Currently available for carpentry professionals.
- Krafteo Workflow: an application that offers an overview of operations in real time (monitoring, planning, detection of delays, alerts, etc.), improving the management of construction sites, teams and resources and strengthening communication and collaboration within of the company.
The next application, currently under development, will digitize the planning of field teams on construction sites (measurement, installation, after-sales service, etc.) and equip them with mobile applications intended to replace paper files.
The ambition to build the modular ERP for VSEs/SMEs in the building sector
Eldo's ambition is to build the modular ERP that will manage all of the processes of VSEs/SMEs in the building sector while seeking to continually expand its offering. New features will be added through partnerships with market publishers or internal developments.
This ambitious initiative begins with a course dedicated to carpentry installers, and is then intended to address the entire sector.
Cross interviews
For Jean-Bernard Melet, CEO Eldo: ““Alone we go fast Together we go far” the construction and energy renovation market is complex with many specificities to take into account. If we want to achieve ambitious objectives of digitalization of the sector and decarbonization, I am convinced that we must join forces between publishers and with manufacturers to support building professionals who are the central players in the sector. »
For Benjamin Tarrier, Krafteo manager: “After 15 years leading development teams including 5 years as Product Director of ELCIA, I have developed the conviction that a software publisher cannot develop alone all the functionalities that its client needs to manage your business but must focus on your core business, where it brings the most value. We therefore had the idea of Krafteo, which brings together the best software publishers on the market and pools their strength within a global platform. We are going to develop new innovations which will be integrated natively into professional career paths and will enable building and housing professionals to gain time, productivity and control of their activity. »
Interview: Edouard CATRICE, General Director of the ELCIA Group
Why did you choose to join the Krafteo adventure?
We announced our partnerships with Revel’Home and Eldo in March and September 2023. All three of us share the same vision: we each have our DNA, our specialty, our expertise and it is essential to stay focused on it! We do not want to spread ourselves too thin by developing functionalities in our solutions that are not our core business.
However, we must face an observation: interfacing software developed by different companies is far from simple and is often very expensive. Each of us is focused on our priorities and the connection with external solutions always comes second. Result: our customers are equipped with ProDevis, Revel’Home and Eldo and must constantly navigate between these solutions. They lose the overall vision of things, even though our three solutions complement each other perfectly to provide a global solution so that installers in the Carpentry sector can manage their commercial activity even better! It was therefore in the interest of all three of us to agree on a standard exchange protocol.
So this is how Krafteo was born?
With Jean-Bernard MELET (President of Eldo) and Charles PELLÉ (President of Revel’Home), we were keen to create an organization totally dedicated to the interaction between ProDevis, Revel’Home and Eldo. All while respecting each person’s independence and priorities. Another mission: this organization had to be able to develop cross-functional applications to provide this global vision demanded by our customers!
Benjamin TARRIER, who was in the Product Service Department of ELCIA for 5 years, proposed creating a new independent company which would belong to the software publishers who are involved: Krafteo!
Krafteo is the result of a new alliance between ELCIA, Revel’Home and Eldo. Can you tell us more?
It’s a new ecosystem that is being created between French software publishers and experts in their market! Waoup, a start-up studio in Lyon, is also part of the adventure to bring its vision of entrepreneurship.
A great human and technological adventure is beginning! Everything has to be created because Krafteo aims to open up to other software publishers that complement our solutions. The first step is to focus on professionals in the Carpentry, Blinds and Closures market, but Krafteo will open up to other software publishers to offer this scheme to the entire building market.
