At the end of a year marked by the finalization of a profound and successful transformation of its business model, Effy has strong ambitions for 2022, including that of exceeding one billion euros in business volume.
For Frédéric Utzmann, founder of the EFFY group: “In 2021, the dynamic around the energy renovation of housing has further accelerated. Despite the end of the 1 euro offers and the reduction of certain aid, we are proud to have continued our growth and to have almost doubled our network of partner craftsmen in 2021. Our greatest satisfaction remains that of having succeeded in transforming ourselves in less than 3 years to position ourselves now as the reference player in energy renovation, and no longer works at 1 euro or CEE. Building on the success of this transformation, we want to focus in 2022 on our growth, our contribution to the development of a French sector of excellence, and on exceeding one billion euros in business volume. »
2021: the completion of a successful transformation and a network of partners almost doubled
With the end of 1-euro offers and the CEE boost, the energy renovation sector has seen many regulatory changes in 2021. These major upheavals, the Effy group had anticipated them by operating, since 2019, a transformation of its business model.
This transformation aimed to allow effective support for all individuals, from the most modest to the wealthiest, for all types of work (insulation, heating, renewable energies, windows, ventilation, etc.).
The latter can now choose their level of service between tailor-made works, which they freely determine with a network of referenced professionals ("Freedom" service), and turnkey works, totally guaranteed both in their technical realization and in their financial aspects ("Serenity" service).
In 2021, the Effy group launched three new "Serenity" work offers: solar self-consumption, exterior insulation (ITE) and installation of Very High Energy Performance gas boilers. These new activities already represented 2 million euros in quotes signed per month at the end of 2021.
Over the past year, Effy has also seen its network of artisan partners nearly double. Thus, in line with the objectives set by the group at the end of 2020, Effy's network of partners grew from 2 to 000 active artisans at the end of the year.
One of the main reasons for this success is due to the launch in 2021 of an administrative support service for the group's partner artisans: the "Simplicité" service.
The objective: to facilitate and assist in obtaining Effy bonuses by verifying step by step the eligibility of the documents (quotes, invoices) published by the craftsmen and by completing the administrative documents for them. A saving of time and efficiency for professionals whose agenda is very busy.
2022: increase Effy's contribution to the energy renovation market, succeed in launching global renovation with the entire sector, reaffirm the group's mission with individuals and craftsmen
In 2022, Effy aims to significantly increase its contribution to the energy renovation market for individual housing, a market estimated at 20 billion euros per year in France.
The group's business volume, which exceeded 800 million euros in 2021, should exceed one billion euros by 2022, or around 5% of the market. On the strength of this growing contribution to the market, the group hopes to accentuate synergies with new types of players and partners: distributors and traders, manufacturers in the sector, real estate players, etc.
As a multi-specialist in works, Effy brings together in its network of partners craftsmen belonging to all trades in energy renovation. The success of the massification of global energy renovation is above all a sector issue. Effy wishes to contribute with her to take up this new challenge.
Finally, after the end of 2021 marked by soaring energy prices, and while 1 in 2 French people today fear not being able to pay their bills, Effy wishes to reaffirm this year the heart of the mission which has driven it since its creation in 2008: supporting households as closely as possible to their needs. All the actions that will be carried out by the group in 2022 will thus meet the same objective: to help the French people to quickly, efficiently and sustainably reduce their bills thanks to energy renovation works.
