The EDIL-Moulded interjoists ensure the formwork of the poured compression slab and the insulation of the floor. In expanded polystyrene (M4) and flame-retardant polystyrene (M1), these are very light and thermally insulating interjoists, particularly essential on a crawl space or on the top of a basement, for high thermal performance.
The EDIL-Moulé range comes in two families: interjoists for prestressed joists and interjoists for lattice joists, notably called EDIL-Moulé TR.
3 interjoist references are available in the 2 ranges, depending on their thermal resistance: Up 27, Up 23 and Up19. Other references are still available outside the range.
The standard size of the interjoists is dimensioned by a center distance of 600 mm over a length of 600 mm. Two formwork heights are available, 120 mm and 150 mm for lattice girders. All the interjoists are equipped with a tab that insulates the underside of the beams, thus effectively eliminating thermal bridges.
Their molding gives them a perfect geometry, they are implemented very simply, without the need to rework them. Their format is not full, they are honeycombed with longitudinal channels to be as light as possible, apart from the Up 19 space which is almost full. The shape of the cells facilitates the assembly of the beams and has been specifically designed to simplify their cutting in the case of assembly with twin beams.
Intended for buildings and individual houses on a crawl space, the EDIL-Molded range constitutes a real barrier to heat loss, a guarantee of energy performance for the crawl space of the dwelling. Indeed, thanks to their excellent insulation qualities, the interjoists of the EDIL-Moulé range contribute to the thermal improvement of floors and contribute to the construction of buildings in accordance with the requirements of the bioclimatic needs of RE 2020. Performance and the mechanical resistance of the EDIL-Molded range are certified by CSTB NF certification (No. 123-039) which not only provides a guarantee of safety on construction sites during installation and casting (resistance > 150 daN) but also attests to the shape compatibility between the interjoists and the beams as well as the thermal performance of the EPS (Lambda 0,035).
