Winner of the 2024 Grand Prix for Innovation For its heating solution, the Ecomatic company has been committed for more than twenty years to simplifying the daily lives of the French. To this end, it has developed an alternative to traditional heating that is intended to be more discreet, less energy-intensive, and better suited to housing constraints. Ecomatic baseboard heaters are adapted to the needs of individuals and professionals, for first projects as well as for renovations. Unlike traditional solutions such as underfloor heating, the renovation of which can be complex and expensive, Ecomatic baseboard heaters require less work and can be installed in just 1 to 2 days, depending on the surface area concerned. In terms of budget for the renovation, one costs €950 excluding VAT per m2, while baseboard heaters cost around €160 excluding VAT per m2.
For Fabien Hullar, manufacturer and inventor of the Ecomatic solution: « One of the main advantages of our solution is its ease of installation: residents don't need to leave their homes or move their furniture. We adapt to each individual's interior and work without disruption. The work doesn't generate excessive noise or dust, ensuring optimal comfort throughout the project. »
By offering its baseboard heaters for renovation projects, Ecomatic is addressing a dual challenge: reducing the energy footprint of homes while offering a practical and affordable alternative to homeowners.
The Ecomatic solution, the history of French know-how
Ecomatic baseboard heaters were first introduced in 2004. Fabien Hullar, inventor and manufacturer, was inspired by Canadian heating systems to develop his own solution. Made in France. Its system is now patented and manufactured with a quality requirement worthy of French know-how from design to manufacturing. The baseboard heaters guarantee a reduction of 10 to 20% in energy bills and are adapted to the needs of individuals and professionals. They are also compatible with all energy sources (electric, hot water and dual energy) and use several physical and thermodynamic principles, such as convection, inertia and radiation, to distribute heat evenly throughout all the rooms equipped.
New solutions expected
Alongside its flagship product, Ecomatic recently launched its towel dryer, a designer solution made from granite and marble offcuts. This additional system combines craftsmanship and technical expertise. In addition to the thermal comfort it provides, it enhances bathrooms, just like a decorative piece. The heating elements are directly integrated into the structure for optimal performance and better heat diffusion. In 2025, Ecomatic will expand its product range by unveiling new cooling solutions. More information to come.
