Ecomatic is scaling up and moving to a new site to support its growth

By becoming the owner of its premises, Ecomatic strengthens its local roots and confirms a growth trajectory now open to international markets.

Since its launch in 2004, Ecomatic has continuously reinvented heating as we know it, notably with the creation of baseboard heaters. By developing solutions designed to meet the energy efficiency challenges faced by French consumers, it has established itself as a key player in its sector. In 2024, its expertise and vision of thermal comfort were recognized with the Grand Prix for Innovation at the Foire de Paris. This recognition and momentum have allowed it to go even further. Since then, Fabien Hullar, CEO and founder of Ecomatic, has expanded its range of heating and cooling products.

In this context of continued growth, the move is not simply a change of address: it's a logical evolution, according to him. "The change of premises became necessary for several reasons: increased production, new product lines to consider in our production areas such as towel warmers, temperature-controlled furniture, cooling systems, and the development of our heat pump and baseboard heating packages." With this new site, Ecomatic is making a strategic choice that reflects a long-term vision and a commitment to long-term stability. Operationally, the benefits are immediate: redesigned production flows, a more streamlined organization, and significantly improved working conditions for the teams. Above all, this acquisition opens up new perspectives: with nearly 200 ares of available land, Ecomatic is giving itself the means to absorb its growth and support its future developments seamlessly.

In the coming months, the site will include a 150 m² showroom and a dedicated training area, designed to structure a network of installers and strengthen the transfer of expertise. This industrial expansion also provides a lever for supporting Ecomatic's development beyond its traditional markets.

From Alsace to the international stage: a deliberate trajectory

In line with this strategy, the company is embarking on a gradual international expansion. Ecomatic has already begun its rollout in Switzerland, a market undergoing a rapid energy transition, as well as in Germany and Austria, two territories with particularly high standards for the performance and quality of heating systems. Outside of Europe, the company is now preparing the next stage of its expansion. "Canada represents a high-potential opportunity for us. The climatic conditions there are particularly well-suited to our solutions. Our objective is clear: to establish a lasting presence there," emphasizes Fabien Hullar. This new step extends the momentum already underway in Europe and confirms Ecomatic's ambition to deploy its model beyond its traditional markets.

Since its inception, Ecomatic has developed a heating approach based on thermal control and adaptation to the real-world constraints of buildings. At the heart of its product range, baseboard heaters redefine heat distribution. Their quick and minimally invasive installation allows for the equipping of an area of ​​60 to 100 m² in a single day, depending on the site's configuration. This thermal efficiency translates into tangible, measurable gains: an average reduction of 10 to 20% in energy consumption, combined with precise temperature control, room by room.
