Ecomatic baseboard heaters take the height with the Eiffel Tower

Ecomatic baseboard heaters are gaining ground with a renovation project at the Eiffel Tower. Interior designer and self-employed Géraldine Lorand was commissioned in March 2023 to renovate Comptoir Gustave, a fast food space for visitors located on the 2nd floor of the historic monument. Its objective is to modernize and optimize space for both customers and employees. The project will last a total of one year, from design to inauguration in spring 2024.

An exceptional place and some technical constraints

For this renovation, Géraldine Lorand, in collaboration with a young interior designer, Manon Hannoucene, imagined a bright, warm and refined place which features fresh products and a hot spot to arouse the appetite of passers-by. To do this, she creates a rounded counter to absorb a pillar and naturally give the direction of circulation. On the equipment side, you have to go to the essentials due to numerous technical constraints: a lack of space and above all, the inability to close the place permanently... Despite everything, Géraldine Lorand perseveres to equip the Comptoir Gustave with a system of heating : " I had a very strong request from the teams for heating. Employees are drafty and need to be able to stay warm during the winter. While doing some research online, I came across Ecomatic baseboard heaters. What I like most about this solution is its discretion, its aesthetics, but also its mode of operation. Unlike heated parquet floors, heated baseboards are easy to install and do not require work or site downtime. It was exactly what I needed. »
