In 2023, disability affected 12 million French people, the equivalent of 1/5th of the French population. Failing to be able to combat disability, living with it therefore becomes a national issue. By participating in the show house project for the OTO Rotating System, a system imagined by Nicolas Burner, CEO of the OTO company, Fabien Hullar, founder of Ecomatic, wanted to make his contribution by adapting his heating solutions to challenges encountered by people with reduced mobility: “ This is a subject that is close to my heart and when Nicolas Burner contacted me, I immediately seized the opportunity. We supplied approximately 30 m of baseboard heating, 4 m of threshold heating for the bay window, 6 m of empty baseboards to harmonize the visual effect, 36 m of recessed profile and 7,5 m of light strips. »

A daily ally

Among other things, they ensure continuous diffusion of heat by eliminating cold walls, which are often synonymous with discomfort. For people with reduced mobility or those who are immobile, this detail makes all the difference. At the same time, Ecomatic solutions preserve space thanks to their discretion and mode of operation. Always for the sake of comfort and adaptability, Fabien Hullar has also developed additional modules to compensate for the handicaps of the French. Its heated baseboards can be equipped with presence sensor indicator lights to position individuals in the space, but also to create ambient lighting, less aggressive than traditional lighting. Warning accessories have also been designed such as the wireless emergency bell for people on land and the humidity detector in the event of flooding. Other integrations are also possible such as setting up a Bluetooth system to listen to music.

The Ecomatic solution, the history of French know-how

Ecomatic baseboard heaters were created in 2004. Fabien Hullar, inventor and manufacturer, was inspired by Canadian heating systems to develop his own Made in France solution. Its system is now patented and manufactured according to the rules of the art in Alsace, with a quality requirement worthy of French know-how. Baseboard heaters guarantee a 10 to 20% reduction in energy bills and are adapted to the needs of individuals and professionals.
