Eclisse launches Syntesis Battant Acoustique, the 1st interior hinged door, invisible and acoustic

Eclisse France, a specialist in the manufacture of interior doors, is launching Syntesis Battant Acoustique on the French market, the first flush hinged door which reduces noise pollution by up to 34 dB between rooms in a home. A technical novelty which completes its range of interior doors without cladding Syntesis Collection, to combine acoustic comfort and aesthetics and make the house much less noisy.

Soundproof and invisible, a discreet door!

Eclisse France brings an innovation to its famous collection of Syntesis flush-mounted interior doors: the reduction of noise pollution by up to 34 dB, between the rooms of a home.

In the interior door market, soundproofing is not common as traditional doors typically have a sound reduction rating of only 20dB. However, in certain rooms such as the baby's room, the parental suite, the bathroom, or the office, one aspires to more tranquility, even to be able to isolate oneself.

With Syntesis Battant Acoustique, Eclisse meets both aesthetic requirements and noise issues inside the home. Depending on the need for sound reduction, the door is offered in two acoustic versions: 30 dB or 34 dB.

Sound reduction of 30 or 34 db

Syntesis Acoustic Battant is a frame for invisible swing doors, on which each element has been designed to reduce noise pollution between rooms.

It is equipped with solid core doors denser than traditional doors, which absorb noise by trapping it in the mass and limit the diffusion of noise by 30 dB or 34 dB, depending on the model chosen.

Isophonic seals inserted in the rebate of the door, come into direct contact with the different surfaces, preventing noise from circulating between the rooms.

When closing, the automatic plinth, inserted in the lower groove, is activated by a trigger. The rounded and flexible shape of the baseboard seals the gaps with precision.

Aesthetics all the way to the skirting boards

The Syntesis Acoustic Wing door is made of wood and without cladding. Flush, it enhances the partition with its clean and modern lines. Delivered pre-painted, it can be chosen in different custom colors to blend in with the partition.

Unlike traditional installation, the Syntesis-supported plinth runs along the partition without creating extra thickness. This way, it avoids creating an unsightly gap around flush doors. The extra thickness of standard doors disappears to leave the partition perfectly smooth. Only a handle materializes its opening.

Syntesis Battant: a state-of-the-art frame

Syntesis Battant, for partitions with a minimum finished thickness of 72 mm, is made up of a high-strength aluminum frame to be screwed onto a plasterboard partition or to be sealed in a partition to be plastered. Its passage spacers, in 25 mm OSB, protect the frame from deformation during installation. The connection between the frame and the plasterboards is made by coating the ribbed profiles with adhesive mortar, for a perfect finish of the angles, without cracking. The frame is sold alone or as a door unit with the panel and hardware. Non-standard heights are also available.

Concealed hinges adjustable on 3 axes allow a meticulous adjustment of the door, in order to obtain its perfect alignment on the surface of the partition. Double articulation produces smooth, squeak-free movement.
