Durieu refreshes Paris with its ThermaCote® insulating paint

Refresh facades, concrete, floors, bitumen, roofs ... with a paint it is possible!

In the heat of summer, as part of the operation "Refresh the City" of a French brand of alcohol, ThermaCote® repainted in green part of the rue de la Butte aux cailles in Paris. ThermaCote® is an aqueous phase paint ultra concentrated in dry extracts. The supports see their temperature decrease significantly or their heat loss decrease during the winter.

Explanations

ThermaCote® is a 3-in-1 protection which reduces the impact of high or very low temperatures and avoids thermal shocks which generate deterioration of the supports.

3 principles: Thermal insulation + Humidity insulation + Air tightness (condensation)

Thermal insulation is the major issue, thanks to its composition, ThermaCote® acts as a survival blanket! Applied on a wall subjected to cold it will strongly limit the passage of heat towards the outside by "returning" the heat inside the building. On a wall or a floor in direct exposure to the sun it will allow the reflection of a part of the heat outside the support thus allowing to significantly reduce the temperature felt on the support. Thus, a wall protected with ThermaCote® can go from 60 ° to 38 °.

Humidity insulation: humidity is the enemy N ° 1 of insulation because it generates infiltration in the walls, causes the formation of condensation and rust. ThermaCote® protection allows the support to breathe while preventing moisture from entering.

Air tightness: ThermaCote® prevents air leaks. The support sees its reinforced insulation.

The combination of the insulation of the supports against hot, cold, humidity and air allows:

• prevent the formation of rust induced by air or humidity with the metal supports and thus prevents the reinforced concrete from rusting and therefore from bursting,
• avoid thermal shock and therefore the presence of moisture or condensation.

Finally, resolutely avant-garde, ThermaCote® acts directly on energy savings by reducing heat loss or heat absorption, which allows less energy to be used for heating or cooling.
