Drone Volt announces the death of its CEO, Olivier Gualdoni

Olivier was above all a loving husband and father, a man much appreciated by all, generous, open and always available, a person who could be counted on in all circumstances, both on a personal and human level. Gifted with a great ability to listen, Olivier always placed human relations at the heart of the company and was thus able to create around him a solid and united team in which he had complete confidence. A charismatic leader, Olivier was a dynamic leader who was entirely devoted to his company and its employees.

Olivier took over the management of DRONE VOLT at the end of 2015 and for the past 5 years has been the architect of the transformation of a small drone distribution company into a professional drone manufacturer, today an international group capable of fighting on equal terms. with the giants in place. Thanks to the implementation of an innovative strategy based on the competence of teams of French and Dutch engineers and technicians, the DRONE VOLT group has gained market share with the largest companies and government agencies on the planet.

The Board of Directors, meeting urgently today, has decided to modify the governance of the Group.

The Board of Directors co-opted Dimitri Batsis, founder of DRONE VOLT and historical shareholder since 2012, as director of the company, replacing Olivier and appointed him Chairman of the Board of Directors, a position he had confided in Oliver a few years earlier.

At the same meeting, the Board unanimously decided to separate the functions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and appointed Marc Courcelle, until then Director of Production of DRONE VOLT, in whom Olivier had complete confidence, as Director General.

While mourning this immense loss alongside his family, the DRONE VOLT group ensures that it is in working order to continue its activities and can count today on the team in place which takes over.
