Faced with the increase in episodes of extreme heat, the Minister of Housing, Valérie Létard, announced that she wanted to develop the energy performance diagnosis (DPE) in order to better integrate the notion of summer comfort. This is a major climate issue for nearly 55% of French people who say they feel too hot at home as soon as the temperatures rise outside[1].
