For 30 years, the group has been consolidated on solid foundations, anchored in family values and proximity. This year, and during this congress, the future of Tout Faire Matériaux and an ambitious co-construction project were discussed.
To move forward together, five projects were presented by Cédric Fabien, president of Tout Faire Matériaux and Charles Gaël Chaloyard, CEO of Tout Faire Matériaux. They were then challenged by the 350 members present during workshops.
1. Go back to conquest
It is essential for the group and its members to attract new talents to be stronger together: authenticity, rurality, and customer passion are all values intrinsic to the group and on which it relies to attract these new employees.
Many challenges await the profession of trading in the next 10 years: 50% of members will change their main shareholder. These are new and future members who will have to be supported and helped to train in order to perpetuate the trading sector.
The geographic diversity of its members is one of the network's greatest pride. This is why it is essential to invest the entire French territory and to increase the number of members. Training offers and the development of concessions will make it possible to achieve this objective.
2. All Doing surrounds itself with new vital forces
With new partners, Tout Faire wishes to show more what it does and put forward its members, the human soul of the group. The increased presence on new communication channels tends to meet this need. This new strategy inspired and embodied by the new management team is also accompanied by the overhaul of the graphic universe of the group, and in particular of its logo.
3. The store concept at the heart of the close relationship
With rapid growth, e-commerce is tending to reduce the cards of consumption habits, and in particular those in stores. The latter represented 9% in 2019 and 13% in 2020 according to the FEVAD (Federation E-commerce and Distance Selling). This is why Tout Faire Matériaux carried out a survey of 300 professional and private customers in order to meet their expectations as closely as possible. The hybrid format between e-commerce and the store concept therefore seems to be the best solution to meet consumer practices.
The transformation of stores is necessary to achieve greater homogeneity and meet the needs of tomorrow. The Tout Faire 2025 store will be built by module and will focus on more expert and human advice at the service of the customer, with more services, more choices and more stocks.
4. Launch of new services
The members of the group focus on innovative products and services with high added value. They wish to interfere in new markets such as that of bio-based materials, derived from renewable organic matter, and the low-carbon market, which are all avenues to be developed and preempted.
Expertise in energy renovation must be strengthened and, tomorrow, the ambition is to transform all Tout Faire Matériaux points of sale into an energy showcase.
Services to facilitate and develop the relationship with its customers also remain at the center of discussions with points of sale which embrace the digital turn and which respond to new modes of consumption such as Box & Collect.
5. Improve collective performance
This ambition is the strength of the group. Together, the group will consolidate its leadership position. It is thus essential to reinforce the feeling of belonging to the unique values of Tout Faire of each member by relying even more on the authenticity, the customer passion and the feeling of family which founds the group.
This is why communication, simplification and information transmission tools have been developed within the group. More regular meetings in the form of Matinale info, presented by Cédric Fabien and Charles Gaël Chaloyard, or a new internal social network and thematic webinars allow us to go further in understanding the professions and market developments. Tomorrow, information will be shared in order, together, to be stronger and more agile.
These ambitious projects are shaping the lines of Tout Faire 2025.
This congress was also an opportunity to celebrate the members who have marked the year at a gala evening with an award ceremony to encourage and salute:
- the best point of sale layout
- courage
- the best recovery
- digital transformation
- energy renovation
- the young hope
- the Grand Prix 2021
These few days, turned towards the future of Tout Faire Matériaux, allowed everyone to get involved and strengthen ties around a single objective: that of building, together, the trading of tomorrow.
