DevisGratos: the virtual assistant for craftsmen, a chatbot at the service of craftsmen

Facilitate the search for craftsmen

Following the deployment of its website and its application, DevisGratos launches in 2020 the 1st chatbot for connecting building professionals and individuals. Accessible on Facebook Messenger, this interface does not require the user to download any additional application and works on both computer and mobile (both Android and iOS). DevisGratos indeed offers the possibility for the individual to carry out a search for a craftsman from his messaging system, during a conversation with a robot programmed to guide him in his search.

The principle is simple: by entering his work project in the chat, or by letting himself be guided through redirections, the user is offered categories of construction sites and then a contact form to complete. From then on, the request is sent to the technical team which transmits the information to various professionals located near the home of the individual. Within 72 hours, the user receives up to 5 quotes that he can compare before selecting the craftsman he wishes to meet.

How the chatbot works?

By going to the DevisGratos Facebook page, just click on "Send a message" to access the tool. Once this is done, the individual will only have to initiate the conversation by clicking on the "Start" button.

Once the conversation has started, the bot will greet the user using their Facebook name and then ask them to describe their project. Two choices will be possible: guided search (via buttons to click) or smart search (possibility for the user to write his project in the chat).

From then on, the individual will only have to complete his request by filling in an information form (address, e-mail, telephone, etc.).

If the type of request is not recognized by the bot, the user will be offered the opportunity to describe their need in detail so that it can be processed by the technical team.
