Eiffage's results in 2021 exceed those of 2019

The works activity (more than three quarters of its income) exceeded the level of 2019, while on the side of the motorway concessions, the traffic, first affected by the confinements at the start of 2021, rebounded "strongly" in the second half, explains the group.

At 777 million euros, Eiffage thus doubles its profit compared to 2020. It is also an increase of 7,2% compared to 2019.

Its turnover amounted to 18,72 billion euros, i.e. +14,7% and +3,2% respectively compared to 2020 and 2019.

The Infrastructures branch is particularly dynamic (6,84 billion euros in revenue), particularly in France where it was driven by the Grand Paris Express projects and an offshore wind farm off Saint-Nazaire ( Loire Atlantique).

Eiffage benefited internationally from the dynamism of the transport infrastructure market in Germany and the ramp-up of the LGV HS2 in the United Kingdom.

The group says it is "confident" for the future, anticipating "a further increase in results in 2022" on the works side as well as on the concessions side, in particular thanks to a good renewal of its order book, including several multi-year contracts.

The Works order book thus reached 16,3 billion euros, or +1% compared to 2020, a year during which several large orders were recorded (A79 in France, HS2 in the United Kingdom, A3 in Germany ), notes Eiffage.

Beyond 2022, the group insists on its positioning on trades linked to the ecological transition, which "gives it excellent visibility", he says, citing recent successes such as the multi-year public lighting contract for the city ​​of Paris (10 years).
