Decayeux consolidates its external growth strategy with the acquisition of Visorex

After the creation of three foreign subsidiaries and the takeover of the assets of its competitors FANA (Poland) in 2009 and JU (Germany) in 2011, Decayeux is strengthening its leading position in the letterbox market.

Visorex:

For several years, Visorex had made a place for itself in the residential landscape by bringing to the market a global offer combining know-how in wood and installation.

It should also be remembered that the history of the Visorex company is marked by its experience in “general carpentry and layout”, the company specialized in the collective letterbox 20 years after its creation.

Decayeux continues its conquest:

The family group founded in 1872 is taking a new step. Decayeux is successfully pursuing its growth ambitions and confirming its leading position in the letterbox market in Europe.

With this takeover, the market is consolidating around two players who are experts in their field. “This acquisition allows us to consolidate our leadership position. However Visorex will continue on its way by keeping its activity and its specificities on the market” insists Stéphane Decayeux, Managing Director. Visorex will benefit from Decayeux's digital expertise, which will give it access to MY technology: connected labels as well as MyColisBox smart parcel boxes.

There is no merger between the brands, Decayeux will continue its move upmarket and its quest for excellence thanks to its connected products and Visorex will continue its progress on the market for fitting out entrance halls in the new and rehabilitation.
