During the two parliamentary debates on April 28 and May 6 on the Multiannual Energy Program, the Prime Minister opened his speech with the need to quickly electrify energy needs to free ourselves from fossil fuels. He then laid out the four principles that the various electricity sources must satisfy in shaping the future electricity mix: decarbonization, abundance, competitiveness, and sovereignty.
