David Granata signs the decoration of the Café de l'Ormeau in Ramatuelle

Inspired by the old cafés of the Golf de Saint Tropez, this 300m2 space, recently taken over by Indie Group, has been completely renovated to breathe new life into a chic brasserie atmosphere.

Inside, the bar area, the kitchen, the toilets and the three rooms have been completely refurbished in a vintage spirit, offset by contemporary photographs of local life scenes, signed by Marina Germain. The plaster walls have been patinated and the woodwork completely restored. The still original lights have been rehabilitated and brought up to standard. To this "Bistrot" atmosphere, the decorator added green leather benches and a new decorative and functional base.

On the decoration side, David Granata and his team have carefully selected pieces found at flea markets in Cogolin and in the surrounding flea markets in the Luberon.

The kitchen, for its part, is equipped with modern equipment and more functional stoneware tiles than the initial earthenware.

Outside, the facades and signs have been preserved and enhanced with a lime plaster, the joinery has been replaced almost identically with an update of the safety standards. The outdoor chairs are from Maison Drucker and the tables come from Ardamez, the specialist in bistro tables.

Significant work has been carried out on the choice of materials and materials, colors and textures in order to underline the identity of the project. This veritable cocoon is thus betting on the color green and on antique pieces to welcome a chic and relaxed clientele, just in time for a refreshing pastis.
