Danoline ROLD12 Fix: the new interpretation of plaster wall coverings, signed Knauf

With the launch of ROLD12 in 2021, Knauf Danoline had already shaken up the design of modular plaster ceilings by providing them with depth, a unified perspective and a wooden appearance. With ROLD12 Fix, Knauf Danoline innovates by offering specifiers a wall covering providing rhythm and relief to the volume, customization as desired and acoustic qualities. ROLD12 Fix also fits in perfect harmony with ROLD12, playing the card of creative wall/ceiling reminders.

ROLD12 Fix: features and performance

Made from recycled plaster (up to 30%), ROLD12 Fix is ​​made of Unity 3 plasterboard (600 x 600 x 12,5 mm, perforation 3,5 x 3,5 mm and center distance of 8,3, 12 mm) in white finish, covered with 25 trapezoidal fiber plaster slats (600 x 12,5 x 25 mm) printed with a light oak finish (total thickness of the complex of 12 mm). ROLDXNUMX Fix aims to enhance the creativity of architects, both in new construction and renovation of tertiary buildings, hotels, reception halls and even conference, meeting and performance rooms.

ROLD12 Fix displays high acoustic performance (αw up to 0,90), coupled with an A2-s1, d0 fire reaction. In terms of indoor air quality, ROLD12 Fix benefits from an A+ classification, the best level of non-emissivity.

ROLD12 Fix: customization as desired and light effects

ROLD12 Fix also plays the customization card with the possibility of coloring the trapezoidal slats from a wide range of colors (among RAL & NCS shades), for unique creations of their kind.

Like the ROLD12 ceilings, ROLD12 Fix can also be equipped with lighting fixtures, specially designed to fit between the slats: the DANOlight LED strips slide easily between the trapezoidal slats, without any tools required. Here again, specifiers will be able to play with the location of these strips and their spacing for unique and luminous creations.

ROLD12 Fix: standard and easy implementation

Installation is carried out simply by screwing onto the invisible vertical metal frame using screws specifically developed by Knauf. These DANOloft® screws are ultra thin, white pre-painted and perfectly sized to fit into the microperforation space (between slats). The screw head stops flush with the surface of the slab and the white finish of the screw fades into the white of the slab; a real guarantee of a harmonious finish, most discreet and neat. This discreet fixing further magnifies the wall covering thus produced which seems to stand up, without any fixing. This solution developed by Knauf also eliminates the need for coating, sanding and painting, a real guarantee of rapid and ultra-clean installation.

ROLD12 Fix panels can be installed in two ways.

The first, at eye level, with the slats positioned horizontally, which guarantees compliance with impact resistance requirements in all types of buildings. The second, from a height of 1,80 m with the slats placed horizontally or vertically.
