Custom-made shutters and heritage constraints

The technical response from EHRET and Inter Stores for the Saint-Maur EHPAD in Toulon.

For this sensitive project, the company Inter Stores, EHRET Top Partner, was selected to manage the manufacture and installation of custom-made aluminum shutters, faithful to the original aesthetic.

An exceptional project combining heritage and performance

With over 200 windows and French doors to be fitted, the project needed to combine traditional aesthetics, contemporary functionality, and durable materials. EHRET's Paris model, chosen for this project, was specifically designed to meet the architectural requirements: curved shapes, beveled slats, scalloped hinges, and a matte textured RAL 6019 finish, faithfully imitating the original wood finish.

EHRET's ability to produce openwork slats right down to the semicircular arches was a key factor. Each shutter is a unique piece, adjusted to the millimeter to fit into the existing structure, without modifying the facade or compromising aesthetics.

A controlled installation, designed for the comfort of residents

The installation was carried out on an occupied site, with a specific organization allowing intervention without a cradle, from inside the rooms, thanks to a patented EHRET fixing system. This approach, combining precision, safety and discretion, made it possible to respect the daily lives of the residents and guarantee continuity of service.

The project was entrusted to Cédric and Quentin, experienced installers from Inter Stores, who were able to work on four shutters per day, within a methodical framework agreed upon with the establishment. This work rate illustrates the care taken with the ergonomics of the site and the quality of execution.

With 80 doors installed during this first phase, the project is part of a three-year phased approach, evolving in step with the nursing home's needs. It demonstrates the two companies' ability to meet the challenges of renovating protected buildings, combining technology, heritage, and quality of life.
