Around the world, candidates will be able to submit videos to illustrate their know-how: a completed Cupa Pizarras project, the installation process, aerial images of their achievements, etc. To be eligible, these proposals must include Cupa Pizarras slates, on the roof or facade.
At the end of December, each participant will be rewarded with a professional equipment kit containing clothing and tools. The winner of the challenge will receive a trip to La Medua, the headquarters of Cupa Pizarras in Spain, to discover the natural slate quarries and the shale transformation process.
A winner chosen by the general public, on Instagram
The competition is organized in three phases:
- Until Friday December 1st, candidates can post their video on the Cupa Pizarras website
- From December 11 to 13, these applications will be divided into four groups: United Kingdom, Belgium, France and the rest of the world. Cupa Pizarras will invite visitors to its website to vote for the best video in each category.
- From December 18 to 20: applications will be posted online on the Cupa Pizarras Instagram account. The one who gets the most likes will be declared the winner.
For Stéphane Renard, Sales Director Cupa Pizarras France: “Last year, a Scottish company won the challenge. In 2023, I would like French and Belgian know-how to be in the spotlight. There is indeed a very beautiful slate-making tradition in these two countries with roofers who constantly reinvent this material thanks to their technique and creativity. Slate is a material that adapts as well to the renovation of heritage as to the needs of modern architecture and I hope that this competition will be an opportunity to reveal talents to the general public, through our solutions for roofing and facades. »
