The Ondura group achieves a consolidated turnover of 350 M €, with 2.000 employees and 13 factories worldwide and is managed by Patrick Destang, CEO of Onduline. The new Ondura group is positioned as a major international player in construction materials. The historical base of the group is French, with its world headquarters in Suresnes in the Paris region, an R&D center near Rouen and a factory in Comines in the North. The three entities Onduline, Alwitra and CB will operate independently while benefiting from commercial synergies and access to the ranges of their sister companies. In France, Flatline, the French company newly created by the group will ensure the distribution of Alwitra solutions.
Led by Patrick Destang, also CEO of Onduline, Ondura distributes its products in more than 100 countries, through 32 subsidiaries around the world, to 20.000 customers including the largest professional distribution chains and DIY superstores. It has 13 factories in 9 different countries, and a workforce of 2.000 employees. It achieves a turnover of 350 M €.
With Onduline lightweight roofing solutions, Corotop and Ondutiss sub-roof screens, Alwitra waterproofing membranes, and Onduclair polycarbonate lighting solutions, Ondura masters the technologies required for sloped or flat roofs and provides distributors provide a unique response for private and professional customers. Its product offering makes it possible to reach DIY applications and professional applications with a stronger technical component, where it relies on roofers and waterproofers, via the network of materials traders and specialist roofing distributors.
Despite the difficult context of 2020, pro-forma sales grew by + 5% and + 11% at constant exchange rates. Ondura is approaching 2021 with reasonable optimism, thanks to its stronger foothold in Europe and its expanded offering, a real source of growth. On the strength of these strengths, the group intends to continue its development over the next few years, both through revenue growth and targeted acquisitions, with the support of its shareholders.
