Covid-19: guide to health recommendations for the concrete industry

In order to adapt the implementation of precautionary measures to the specifics of the Concrete Industry activities, the FIB participated, within the framework of the Industries and Quarries and Construction Materials branch, in the preparation of the Guide to good practices to ensure the health and safety of employees in the Concrete Industry.

This guide, which has just been approved by the public authorities, and in particular the Ministries of Labor and the Environment, presents a general "common core" of the health recommendations to be applied during the period of the epidemic, supplemented by recommendations specific to the Concrete Industry sector.

With the support of Cerib, the document intended for all companies in the Concrete Industry, aims to ensure, in the best health and safety conditions, the continuity or the resumption of activities during the epidemic.

The purpose of these recommendations is to present, within the same document, and without claiming to be exhaustive, the health information disseminated by public authorities, in the current state of scientific knowledge, in order to help companies in the Concrete industry in the implementation of hygiene and social distancing measures, called "barriers", aimed at limiting the spread of the epidemic in the workplace.
