A collaboration on the same wavelength
In Trilles, the annual production of photovoltaic panels is estimated at 631 MWh (i.e. the annual consumption of around 120 homes); which will cover 20% of the annual energy needs of the packaging site. On the terminal side, more than 20% of parking spaces will be equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.
In Gironde, the historic Café de Paris wine production site, located in Cubzac, plans to deploy solar panels on the ground, connected in spring 2024. Work to install the shade will begin in July 2024. 80% of the energy produced will thus be intended for self-consumption.
The UCCOAR production site based in Aude will be the next one engaged in this type of transformation.
The partnership is envisaged over twenty years. Idex provides a turnkey solution from design to maintenance, including financing and management. An operation which allows Cordier to go beyond the regulatory standards of the ENR laws on the equipment of car parks with photovoltaic shades and LOM (Mobility Orientation Law) relating to the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles , in company parking lots.
Terra 360, Cordier’s CSR strategy in action
Cordier works every day to produce quality drinks, taking care of the Earth and those who cultivate it. Its Terra 360 CSR strategy has four main pillars: regenerative viticulture and biodiversity, health and safety, transparency and traceability and reduction of the carbon footprint. The objectives are ambitious: reduce GHG emissions by 46% (2019/2020 base) and increase the use of renewable energies by +10%.
This transition is economical, but above all ecological. It responds both to the values of the InVivo group which became a Mission company in 2020, to the new demands of consumers, attentive to the purchase of environmentally friendly products, and to employees who are also sensitive to these positive actions on their working tool.
For Philippe Leveau, Deputy Managing Director Cordier by InVivo: “We are proud to partner with Idex to drive this energy transformation. This partnership allows us to accelerate our CSR commitment by relying on experts in local energy production. »
For Edouard Roblot, Low Carbon Building Director of Idex: “This new partnership is a perfect illustration of Idex’s ability to provide its customers with a turnkey solution adapted to their needs. With the Parking Branché offer, which combines charging stations and photovoltaic canopies, Idex supports Cordier Excel in its transformation and the achievement of its CSR objectives. »
