Objectives and Performance Contract (COP) 2024-2027 between the State, the FIB and the CERIB

The 2024-2027 Objectives and Performance Contract is built with the concrete industry to respond to the strategic challenges of French industrial policy in terms of ecological and energy transition, digital transformation and industry of the future and industrial sovereignty and resilience .

This Contract underlines a strong commitment around major issues in the Concrete Industry sector, in close connection with the expectations of companies expressed by the FIB, a representative professional organization, and the CERIB strategy. It gives the Center, vis-à-vis the beneficiaries of its services, its partners and its collaborators, a robust and ambitious four-year roadmap.

The 5 issues expressed by the CERIB over the period 2024-2027 correspond to the orientations of the Center as defined in its Designs 2030 strategy and to the common objectives set for the Industrial Technical Centers.

5 issues at the heart of CERIB’s commitment to supporting major transitions in construction

1. Increase the impact of actions on the industrial fabric through a close relationship and effective targeted support
2. Deploy innovations for the mastery of constructive solutions and the success of environmental, energy and digital transitions
3. Contribute to the performance of industry and construction through benchmark services
4. Ensuring growth for the sustainability of a collective service
5. Govern, commit, pool and disseminate for efficient management

Reflecting the strong mobilization of industrialists within the Concrete Industry Federation to achieve an environmental and societal change in prefabricated products and construction, the 2024-2027 Objectives and Performance Contract is part of its path. critical :

• the decarbonization of concrete products and structures,
• support for the development of mixed construction systems integrating geo- or bio-sourced materials,
• relevant responses to hydrological hazards through industrial concrete solutions,
• a contribution to the durability and security of structures, particularly with regard to fire risk,
• an acceleration of the development of the circular economy with massification projects,
• the development and deployment of innovative digital resources.

CERIB, as a Research and Dissemination of Knowledge Organization (ORDC), will also continue its initial and continuing training actions over the duration of this contract to respond to tensions in different professions and support individual career paths.

CERIB reaffirms in this Contract its commitment to provide the services of general interest most appropriate to the Concrete Industry in an efficient manner and to ensure technological, economic and harmonious development of the Center, in particular by investing in new areas of innovation and future.
