Colas Rail, subcontracted by Hitachi Rail, will participate in the construction of the monorail project for the future line 3 of the Panama metro. With this first contract won in this country, Colas Rail is strengthening its presence in Latin America.
The contract won as a subcontractor by Colas Rail is part of the project to build 20 km of monorail for the future line 3 of the Panama metro, stations between Ciudad del Futuro and Panama Pacifico, and a depot maintenance in Ciudad del Futuro.
Colas Rail will design, supply and install 100 km of power supply rail, and will participate in the construction of the depot.
The duration of the contract won is more than 30 months.
